The seminar ship John Franklin is a flexible cabin ship for up to 40 people. The ship has a large upper deck, a spacious saloon in the front and a kitchen. In addition to events, seminars and conferences, it can also be used for multi-day incentives.
Ideal for small groups
The John Franklin is ideal for small groups of up to 40 people. Guests can spread out over the two roof areas, the saloon and the cosy wheelhouse. Cruises through Berlin city centre or into the surrounding area, for example to Müggelsee or Wannsee, are particularly enjoyable. Trips lasting several days are also possible, as the ship has comfortable overnight cabins.
Proven as a museum ship
Since 2016, the John Franklin has been travelling around Berlin and Brandenburg as a ‘Wunderkammerschiff’. The ship serves as a mobile exhibition reminiscent of the concept of historical cabinets of curiosities. Inside the ship, a wide variety of objects from art, science and nature are presented, inviting visitors to marvel at them. The exhibition offers children and adults the opportunity to experience artistic objects and extraordinary collector’s items up close. Tours take place twice a year for several weeks.

Use cases
Large roof deck
Almost the entire roof area can be accessed. At the front of the ship there is a large roof terrace with an uninterrupted panoramic view. There is a separate area at the stern, ideal for small groups. You also have a wonderful view of the water from here.
